چکیده
Abstract. Mineral resource exploration and mining is an essential part of today's high-tech industry. Elements such as rare-earth elements (REEs) copper are, therefore, in high demand. Modern techniques from multiple platforms (e.g., spaceborne airborne), to detect map the spectral characteristics materials interest, require libraries reference. They include field laboratory information combination with geochemical analyses for validation. Here, we present a collection REE- copper-related hyperspectral spectra associated information. An Investigation on the Surface Chemistry of Some Rare Earth Minerals during Flotation by Tof-sims
The Thor lake deposit is a world class resource of rare earth (REE) metals and minerals in Canada. Development work to optimize a REE mineral recovery process flow sheet is underway, however, given the ore mineralogy; the developed reagent scheme is relatively complex. As part of a research project, micro flotation tests were conducted on a feed sample in order to examine factors affecting stre...
متن کاملRare-Earth Doped Optical Fibers
An optical fiber becomes active by doping its core with one or more atomic elements, usually (but not restricted to) rare-earths (RE’s), more specifically, the lanthanides that occupy the atomic numbers 57 to 71 of the periodic table. As it will be mentioned later in more detail, they use three electrons in bonding to the condensed materials such as crystals and glasses to become triply ionized...
متن کاملCharge transfer in rare earth oxide hybrid solar cells
Hybrid inorganic–organic solar cells typically combine a transition metal oxide and organic absorber to form the donor–acceptor pair. Here, we explore the use of a rare earth oxide to function as the inorganic component of a hybrid solar cell. Oxidized neodymium (Nd2O3) particles are combined with [6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) to form the solar cell active layer. The short c...
متن کاملGeochemistry of Rare Earth Element in garnet group minerals in some regional metamorphic complexes - Central Iran Micro-Continent (CIMC)
This study focuses on the amount and concentration of trace elements and REEs pattern in garnet crystals which experienced regional metamorphism in the central Iran micro-continent, including the areas of Deh-Salm, Zaman Abad, Mishdowan, and Tanbour. Generally, garnet crystals are isolated from mica schists of greenschist to amphibolite facies. Mineralogical composition of garnets shows almandi...
